The company is led by Filippo Basevi, an Italian-born commodities broker with over 30 years of experience in international commodity markets. Raised in Genoa—historically one of the Mediterranean’s most significant ports and the heart of a powerful maritime republic—Mr. Basevi developed exceptional negotiation skills and an in-depth understanding of global commodity brokerage. His extensive career spans a wide range of markets, from traditional colonial products and food ingredients to modern biofuels and their related feedstocks.
